When performing a BBL a surgeon tries to improve the contour by rounding out the butt.  This often involves adding fat to the top (to create a rounded look), to the bottom (to fill out any sagging) and to the dome of the buttock (to increase projection).The size of your buttock in your photo actually looks fairly nice to me (although you may feel it is a little large).  Certainly you do have a lack of projection in the middle third (overlying your dome).  The only way to address this is surgical.  You could either simply add volume to the dome to improve projection, or if you really feel that the rest is too full, you could have liposuction to reduce volume.  Contour irregularities are the biggest risk of this procedure. I would definitely speak to your plastic surgeon regarding your concerns as I think the situation can certainly be improved. Good luck!
