Had a hair transplant exactly two months ago. My grafts were not falling and they had not grown at all. They were very sharp and were causing irritation in my skin. I pulled all of them them out with tweezers and they came out incredibly easily.
Answer: I pulled out my grafts. Did that damage my entire transplant? After two months the follicles that were grafted had been incorporated into the skin where they were placed. You wouldn't be able to pull out the entire follicle. You pulled out hair that was growing from the follicle. About three quarters of the hairs that get transplanted will fall out within the first few months. They will then start growing from the third month on. So you can expect new hairs to grow from the follicles in several months. So no, I doubt very much that you damaged your entire transplant.

Answer: I'm 2 months post procedure, did I damage my entire transplant after pulling out the grafts? No in my opinion you did not pull out your grafts at two months. They were hairs that were supposed to have shed. Next time ask your clinic the proper way to help shedding post op.

Answer: Hair pulling after 2 months At this month, the hair will detach from the follicle and wait to fall out soon. If you can pull it out very easily, I believe that only the hair shaft was pulled out but the follicle still remains under the scalp. It means that you didn't damage the transplanted hair.

Answer: 2 months post op If you waited until 2 months post op it is unlikely that you were able to pull out the bulbs, which is the part that grows the transplant hair. You will need to wait 4-6 more months to see what growth you are getting. Use Minoxidil 5% to help the transplanted hair.

Answer: Hair coming out after hair transplant Usually transplanted hair falls within the first 3 or 4 weeks and new hair strat growing from the same follicles in 2-3 months. Ocasionally some patient never lose their hair shaft and hair start growing immediately after the procedure. In that case you should not be able to remove them with twizers. I am sure you have discussed it with your doctor but if not, it is important to tell him/her what happend and you should evalauted for the cause of this.
