Jaw is deviated left, but the left masseter muscle also feels quite hypertrophied. Pain resolved after impacted wisdom teeth extraction, facial exercises and stopping Invisalign, but I am concerned about lingering asymmetry. My main question before scheduling a cosmetics consultation is whether or not these are "safe" treatments when the joints are still technically "deranged". My TMJ specialist could not provide a clear answer.
