Mini lift under local anesthesia in Feb 2018. I noticed after there was loose skin under chin and a little jowling. I wasn’t concerned as I was told results would refine over the next 12 months.12m follow up today & expressed my concern. Doc had me step on scale & then blamed a 5 pound weight loss & advised that I “gain the weight back.” Then said that results can be affected by the side on which I sleep & too little skin to revise. Can this be fixed?

Answer: Mini Lift Results Thank you for your question and pictures. Your results appear positive your neck has a nice contour, giving you a natural appearance. You will always have a little bit of slack because skin is elasticity and needs to be able to move. Pulling the skin even more is not the solution - the only way to try and get it tighter would be Renuvion, which is a skin tightening machine which works from the inside of the neck with a cannula. All The Best

Answer: Unhappy with minilfit results Can you post a picture of what your neck looked like before surgery. A minilift will give you some improvement in the jowl and mild improvemnt in the neck area- you have minimal neck laxity at this point and I would suggest something like ultherapy to light and tighten some of the looseness.
