I am over getting filler as it’s expensive and would rather invest in something more long term. I had a consult with a doctor who said he wouls recommend a mini face lift but a few other doctors said definitely no. So I’m Confused as to what would be the best to give more definition as my face has dropped with age
Answer: Non-Surgical Face Lift / Skin Resurfacing with Renuvion/J-Plasma -- add Lasers, Microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy, FaceTite In our practice, we perform a non-surgical face lift / skin resurfacing treatment using Renuvion Helium Plasma Radiofrequency. To get the most improvement with skin tightening, we combine Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) with lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and InMode FaceTite. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Age is not the most important factor when it comes to getting a Facelift A Mini Facelift can usually be an option on most realistic patientsanytime after the age of 35-40. It really depends on your anatomy andgenetics. It is best to talk to your surgeon because everybody hasdifferent techniques and recovery time is usually based on a number offactors. I strongly feel that it's very important to have an honestconversation with your surgeon about your particular situation, lifestyle, work environment and specifically which procedures you'rehaving done so that you both have the most honest answer about yourrecovery and are realistic with expectations and results. Surgery is not for everyone. In today's day and age, there are manynonsurgical options like injectables to consider although surgeryusually gets the most improvement specifically of the jowls. I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon inyour area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot offacelifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such asinjectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them andmake sure above all, you walk out of there with several options and anidea of the pros and cons to each of them as well as realisticexpectations. I hope this helps and wish you all the best in your surgery and event. If it does, please take a moment to up vote this answer on the“respond” button on the top right.

Answer: Minilift at 28 yo I don't have an age cut off for mini lifting- i base it on whether there is a lot of facial skin and if you are a surgical candidate- at 28, this would be very rare, and in your situation, you are definitely not a candidate for a mini lift- What exactly are you trying to achieve or look for ? The short answer is yes, facial fillers and injectables like kybella are the best option at this time, depending on what look you are trying to obtain.

Answer: Mini Lift Mini facelifts are usually a good choice for patients who are between 35-45 and have only slight laxity, which is not corrected with dermal fillers, tightening lasers and Botox. It does however depend on your anatomy and degree of volume loss. At 28, there are many minimally invasive procedures you can have to define your jawline and restore lost volume. I recommend a consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can review all of your options with you.
