I am now 7-days post-op of a Brazilian butt lift. I am still in the greatest amount of pain. Mainly tightness, soreness, and a couple hard lumps on the side. While I sat a little more than I should have in the first 4 days because I had multiple procedures, I also spent plenty of time not sitting. From day 5 to now, day 7, I'm not sitting at all and lying on my side. I've read that the pain should have eased by now, but it seems very strong, still. How much longer will this last?
Answer: Pain after fat transfer to the buttock The pain can certainly last longer than one week after a fat transfer to the buttock. However the pain should begin to decrease as the first week goes by, if not, you should consult and meet with your plastic surgeon for an examination.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.

Answer: How long does the pain last after a Brazilian butt lift? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, discomfort and irregularities are normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Pain after surgery Pain is relative but gradually decreases after your first week. Because you are still in a great deal of pain, I highly recommend that you see your surgeon. That is the only way to truly determine whether your recovery hasn't been compromised and is still going well.

Answer: How long does the pain last after a Brazilian butt lift? Usually starts getting better if a few weeks! Brazillian butt lift can mean suction of the surrounding buttocks and usually some autologous fat grafting into the buttocks. In my 20 years of experience, the fat grafting is not very painful. However, the lipo can take several to 4-6 weeks to have the discomfort and the unusual feeling decrease. There are several thing that can be done, including using an NSAID like Motrin. Gentle massage with coconut oil can also help, Sometimes something stronger is indicated and I have even used Neurontin successfully in a few patients.Good luck. It should be getting better shortly. If not see your surgeon regularly to help you through this. Dr. Seare
