I believe you are describing incisions at the nosrtril sill to narrow the base of the nose. We usually remove stitches at one week but caution patients that the incisions will not have any wound strength for about six weeks. It is important during that time to be gentle and not pull on the area. A small gap usually heals spontaneously. Fading of the scar takes three to six months. If you have any concerns give your surgeon a call.

Rhinoplasty surgery may involve incisions on the outside of the nose, in addition to the inside of the nose. External stitches are normally removed about a week after surgery. Most plastic surgeons will recommend continuing an ointment on the skin to minimize scarring.
