I had a thermi tight procedure on jowl area a little over 2 years ago... Feel like I am ready to have done again... My question is, I have a thin face without alot of fat, does this procedure cause you to loose fat?

Answer: ThermiRF and Combination Treatments Thermi rarely causes fat reduction unless set to high temperatures and kept at that temperature for a significant amount of time. I suggest you see an expert for treatment. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: ThermiTight and Fat Thank you for your excellent question. ThermiTight is an amazing technology, but it is really best thought of as another tool your surgeon can use to address several different cosmetic concerns. ThermiTight certainly can be used to reduce fat, if that is your goal. If that is NOT your goal, then it can also be used to simply tighten skin by your surgeon keeping the probe just below the surface of the skin and selecting a lower temperature, which we know will result in skin tightening, but not fat injury. Just make sure to express your concerns ahead of time with your surgeon.
