Hello, I'm looking to correct multiple issues with my ears. I believe I have a deformity called Darwin's ear bump and they also stick out immensely. I'm hoping both issues could be fixed and would be interested in knowing if my health insurance would cover the surgery or not. Thank you in advance!

This is definitely doable by a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in performing cosmetic ear surgery. This would be ear reshaping surgery, which would involve modifying the structure of the ear so that it doesn’t curve inward.
Each surgeon has their own post-op instructions. It is not uncommon for surgeons to ask their patients to avoid wearing headphones, or any other items that press against the ears, for a week or more after surgery. It would be best to ask your surgeon for their opinion.
