I see that it is safer but I dont know how long it lasts. Is it lifetime change or does it last for a couple of years. Like how long can I expect to see the enhancements from the fat graft breast augmentations? I am a very very very small Acup if that and I just want to be a Bcup I dont want to be all big breasted just a size that fits me....Thanks for your help
Answer: How long do fat grafts last? Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated. Fat for lipoinjection, also called fat transfer, is removed from unwanted areas of the body by a narrow blunt tip surgical instrument with side holes, called a cannula, through a small incision. The fat is then cleaned with sterile saline solution before being restored to the body. The fat is then injected into the desired area using either a smaller cannula or needle, or it may be placed directly through an incision. Since some of the fat that is transferred does not remain over time, your surgeon may inject more than is ultimately needed to achieve the desired end result. Over a few weeks, the amount of transferred fat will decrease. There is a limit of how much fat can be safely injected into one area. The amount of fat that remains over time is variable from patient to patient. For some patients, more fat or other fillers may need to be transferred in a subsequent surgery to maintain or supplement the desired results.#fattransfer #fatgraft

Answer: Fat grafting to the breast: long term
There is a lack of sufficient data to substantiate long term volume corrections and changes. This is a procedure which has only been performed over the past 10 years and the long term follow up is still being collected. Theoretically it should last a lifetime and will change with weight gain and loss.

Answer: Fat grafting to breasts is a great option While the debate continues as to what percentage of the fat grafted to breasts survives, whatever survives will then stay forever. Once fat cells are able to survive the procedure, they become a part of the breast and live on. This is unlike fillers that over time degrade and have to be re-filled.
Sincerely,

Answer: Fat grafting for breast augmentation
It is hard to definitely say how much of it will last. But in most studies and in most patients it is fair to say that 50-60% of the fat injected will remain after one year. But that may not be enough to make you a B from an A-.
If you are looking for a safe and long lasting result I would recommend getting a small implant that will achieve your goals.
Cohesive gel implants that are contoured are a good option for naturally looking breasts in a thin person.
Best of luck.

Answer: How long does fat grafting to the breast last
I just returned from an international breast surgery symposium and most of the studies revealed that about half of the fat that is injected into the breast will survive. This means that after about 4-6 months after the surgery, you will be left with about 50% of the volume that was injected. The remainder will and should be permanent. In order to be a good candidate for this procedure you must have relatively loose skin that will allow expansion and stretching of the skin. You may need to do pre-expansion of you skin with a suction-type system called BRAVA, which can be very difficult to use.
Please consult with an experienced plastic surgeon who is very familiar with fat grafting to the breast.
Best wishes,
Dr. Bruno
