Thank you for your question and photo. You do have irregular liposuction and even though you are swollen at this stage, the irregularity will stay. I would recommend revision liposuction using the VASER Hi Def Lipo technique to give you a more youthful and athletic abdomen. I don't believe that any machine treatment like freezing or burning the fat is as good as a well done liposuction done by an expert body contouring surgeon.Allow 4-6 months to heal, then seek a second opinion with a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
The reason you have apoor result from liposuction alone is bescause you needed your loose skin treated at the same time with skin removal. The only way to get a flat improvement is skin removal/tummy tuck along with revision liposuction. You can do RF treatments, massage and waist trainer in the meantime to help improve your current outcome but this will not make you flat -- even if you added coolsculpting or vanquish. Please see an expert next time. Best, Dr. Emer.
I understand your concern but it is still too early to consider revision. It takes at least 4-6 months for all swelling to resolve and skin to contract. Don’t go rushing off to do revisions that you may not need. Talk to your board certified Plastic Surgeon.
Dear Boujiprincess,I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction. This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately. The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
You must wait until liposuction results are final before seeking out additional treatments or touch ups. A good 3 months is the first point that any assessment should be made, mostly due to swelling. 4-5 months is when all swelling is gone. Follow your surgeon's instructions during this recovery period and await final results.
At 7 weeks post-op, you are still healing and will need several more months for the swelling to subside.. I would not do any further lipo or non-invasive fat shrinking for at least another 4-6 months.
Thanks for the great question. What you have is something called contour irregularities. This means that during your liposuction you were not left with a uniform thickness of fat, hence the pockets of fat that are still present alongside areas where the fat is mission. The best way to fix this is by having liposuction again to smooth out all of the irregularities. You can try coolsculpting or other methods, but I would wait at least 12 weeks before doing any of that. Best,~Dr. Sieber
Thank you for asking about your Lovenox management. Please don't let anyone tell you what to do except a hematologist who has assessed you for the reason for your DVT. This is quite unusual and you should only follow the advice of an expert who has seen you and done a full range of tests. Always...
This fat pad is actually an extension of your breast. This tissue can be very fibrous and sometimes lipo just does not work well. Also with large axillary fat pads, lipo can result in unsightly skin sagging. In your case, I think the best result will likely be obtained with actually ex...
