How long after lip injection do you need to wait to go to a tanning bed or infrared sauna?

You are safe to return to normal activities after lip augmentation.  Though tanning beds are not recommended in general, they will not affect your lip augmentation result. 

You are better off never going to a tanning bed. Whether you have had lip injections are not, the risks of exposure to UV light at a tanning bed far outweighs any perceived benefit.

I generally advise patients to wait at least 3 days before resuming things such as a hot tube, jacuzzi or steam room or hot yoga as they all cause more swelling and potentially more bruising too. Tanning beds are so incredibly dangerous that I won't comment on that.
