Laser treatment for broken capillaries around nose, can it make it worse? Will they automatically get worse over time?

I use Laser to treat vessels around the nose frequently.  I have 4 devices that could work but by far my favorite is my Dornier.  There are potential adverse events - scabbing or brusing for 1 week, pitting and early recurrence. But with that said, if patients are warned about these adverse events, they are still better than the vessel.
I find that most of these vessels are from prior sun damage or inflammation.  But trauma from nose bleeds and nose compression sure could make them worse.

Lasers can be used to treat the broken capillaries but the blood vessel has to be a large enough target for the laser to "see it". Sometimes leg veins will look temporarily darker following a laser treatment but this is not usually not as much of a problem with facial veins. The veins can get more dilated over time which would make them more noticeable.Many things can cause broken  blood vessels on the face including sun damage, physical damage, as well as positive family history of broken blood vessels which can make you more prone to them even without any other risk factors. A physician experienced in using lasers on facial blood vessels could tell you if you are a good candidate at this time to have them treated.
