Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty in the UK? (Photo)

Question

I’ve been quoted 8.5k for ultrasonic rhinoplasty. This does seem a bit steep for the UK as other places quoted around 5-6k. I’ve attached pictures of what I want done would ultrasonic be better?

I would not pay more for the ultrasonic rhinoplasty. You can get perfectly nice  result with a standard rhinoplasty.  Concentrate on finding a good surgeon and don’t get sold on something like ultrasonic rhinoplasty just because it sounds good.

Ultrasonic is a device for reducing the bone. It works very slowly and has no significant advantages over other tools.  Surgeons who bought it, promote it, of course.  I've trialed it three times and each time found it to be not better than other tools.

If you want ultrasonic, go with the surgeon with the most experience. But, don't worry about the tools.  Pay attention to the outcome.

Let me answer a little different to this question, probably because I've developed the techniques and instruments for ultrasonic rhinoplasty since 2013, after having performed rhinos with the usual osteotomes and rasps for about 20 years before.USR allows to manage the bony vault very gently under direct visual control through an open or closed approach, to combine precise cuts and bone removal (rhinosculpture) on all the parts of the bony vault, instead of breaking the bones blindly. Moreover, the recovery is usually straightforward, without ecchymosis and a return to normal social life and work is usual at 7 days PO. Above all, the complications related to aesthetic issues on the bony vault are significantly reduced.Let's just end by saying that most of the rhinoplasty experts around the world have integrated the use of piezoelectric instruments for rhinoplasty (USR)Good luck for your search.
