1st pic depicts the real me & what I'd like to achieve, is this possible? I just photoshopped in a nose I found on the internet, what would i need to have done to achieve a nose like this? I understand that i can't just go and 'choose a nose'. I kept the nostril dividing middle bit in the same place (sorry for lack of terminology knowledge) Main changes are to the tip shape/structure, bridge straightening/narrowing, less bridge projection, nostril side height lowered, maybe make nostrils smaller
Answer: rhinoplasty candidate to narrow the bulbous nasal tip There are many changes that can be accomplished with the rhinoplasty procedure, and it is always best to do that with an in person consultation and examination with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon. Computer imaging in the rhinoplasty surgeon's office would also be of significant benefit for you as well. To narrow the nasal tip, a tip rhinoplasty is performed which involves suture techniques applied to the lower lateral cartilages and sometimes a conservative cartilage removal. De-projection of the overall nose can be accomplished by shaving down the dorsal septum as well as and a hump removal. Columellar show can be reduced if needed. For many examples, please see the link below to our rhinoplasty photo gallery

CONTACT NOW Answer: Good candidate for a conservative approach Thank you for your inquiry! It seems that you are a good candidate for a conservative rhinoplasty reducing the nasal tip and making fine adjustments to complement your facial feature and provide you with the results you fancy. Swelling will be anticipated and it will be masking the true results of your surgery but as time passes, more definition will be appreciated! However, without a physical examination it is not possible to provide you with specific details. I highly recommend that you schedule a consultation with a well-experienced surgeon. It is important to mention that the finest cosmetic results in any particular case are based on a variety of factors, including: the unique anatomy of the patient, realistic expectations, a well-informed and detailed discussion with your plastic surgeon concerning the best options for you especially covering a deep understanding of the pros and cons of any given choice you will adopt. Please keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon online who offers to tell you what to do without a physical examination covering the nature and the status of the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative solution would not be in your best interest. With that in mind, it is the safest and for your best interest to find a plastic surgeon with solid experience and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who is ideally a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons that you will trust and be comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Good luck!!! Ali Sajjadian, MD FACS

Answer: Realistic Nose changes. While you are in the right direction and your goals are realistic, I think that both the tip and the nostrils could be slightly narrower. You could choose an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who could morph your pictures and share the intended changes with you to make sure that you are on the same page.

Answer: Possible changes with rhinoplasty I think you could probably achieve better tip definition with rhinoplasty. Skin thickness would be a potential limitation, however, when considering the photoshop image. The orientation of your nostrils probably cannot be changed to what you have depicted. However, I think you would be a good candidate overall. Good luck!
