I'm 21 years old my breast where size double D or some times I usto wear E sized bra wanted to get a Brest reduction so I saw a doctor and said he will do that for me. After I came out from the surgery my doctor said I did a free nipple graft breast reduction. I was shocked and now my nipples don't even show at all I'm so depressed and still in a shock I hate the way my breast looks I wish I didn't do it! But can I get my nipple back?
Answer: Free nipple graft Hi therete problem with free nipple grafts is that the nipple looses its projection.i assume this is the problem in your case. There are ways of doing nipple reconstruction, I would ask a second opinion if your surgeon doesn't offer thatgood luck

Answer: Free nipple graft Not sure what I would offer. There is a scar around your areola which is normal and I do see the areola there. I am not sure what I would do to improve what I see. I would see another doc who is a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Appearance after free nipple grafting I'm sorry you are upset with your result. I see scars that still appear new, pink, and slightly thick. These may improve over time especially if you are within a year from the time of your surgery. Ask your surgeon about using silicone scar gel or sheets to help. Your areola have healed reasonably well. Your actual nipple does not have substantial projection and I am assuming this is different from your preoperative nipple? It also may not have much sensation right now and this may only improve to a degree after a grafting procedure. Currently, there is no great way to get more nipple projection or sensation within a graft such as this. Please see your original surgeon to discuss your result. Some more time may improve your perspective on your result as your scars improve. Thank you for your question.

Answer: Free nipple graft in a young patient FNG reductions are rare and usually used only in massive reductions where to get enough done, the blood flow to the nipple would likely be compromised and they would die if they weren't put on as skin grafts. The biggest downside to this is that they will ne numb and will not be able to breast feed. Hope that your doctor discussed that with you beforehand.

Answer: Free nipple graft breast reduction A free nipple graft technique is rarely used, perhaps 1% of the time and reserved for patients with massively enlarged breasts. That does not sound like your situation. And it is never used without full consent of the patient. Without knowing details of the surgeon's reasoning it is hard to know what to tell you. I think you need to see a totally different and board certified plastic surgeon for options.
