Can I see some pictures of one sided breast asymmetry correction?

hi there. I have a decision to make and I was wondering if I could see some before and after pictures of patients who have undergone surgery for breast asymmetry and only had one implant put it?

The idea of using an implant only on one side (obviously, the smaller side) SEEMS attractive, especially because of cost, but no matter how good we plastic surgeons are at breast augmentation, a breast with no implant and a breast with an implant (even if size and shape end up "perfect") will never match over time.This may be one of the rare cases where use of implants on both sides (perhaps facilitated by removal of some tissue from the larger side, or using a larger implant on the smaller side) might yield better symmetry.Sure, there is the cost of the additional implant and operative time plus surgeon's fee, but I have seen more re-do surgery because of inadequately-corrected asymmetry with one-side only implants.This is NOT only about size and shape--it's about long-term results and maintenance of as much symmetry as possible. Dear Kllet,   Front and side view pictures of your breasts would have been very helpful.  It is extremely uncommon for a plastic surgeon to do one side only breasts augmentation for cosmetic purpose. It is more common for breast reconstruction. Be it as it may, you should base you decision on the quality of the before and after pictures in the photo gallery and find out if they are to your liking.  The pictures should be numerous, consistent and attractive. The implant size selection will depend on the chest and breasts measurements and the difference between the 2 breasts. If you will send me your pictures, I'll be glad to give you my recommendation. Remember, that no two patients are ever identical;  even by viewing before/after photographs of other patients, you may not achieve a realistic idea of what you will achieve with breast surgery.  Ultimately it will be  important that you select your plastic surgeon carefully and carefully consider pros/cons of each surgical option available. I just did that last week on an athletic 100 lb,34  full B on left and A on right. We place a moderate profile silicpne implant in a dual plane pocket.  Careful chest wall and cup size measurements allow an experienced surgeon to select the right volume and style.
