I don’t know what type of eyelid asymmetry I have, if you know please tell me? I always hate photos straight on of myself because the asymmetry is noticeable in my perception. I really love my right eye (has a nice shape I like) and dislike my left eye due to the hollow look and droopy? How can I make the left eye match my right eye? More almond shape. Thank you so much!
Answer: Eyelid Surgery Hello! Thank you dor your question. The one eye have more saggy skin then the other that is the reason of asymmetry. For a better look I recommend you a upper eyelid blepharoplasty and endoscopic brow lift. With these surgeries you will have more symmetrical eyes (keep in mind that %100 symmetry is not achievable), upward eye area, and more elegant look. If you can provide photos with better angle, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.Best Regards!

Answer: Non-Surgical Chemical Brow Lift for Eyelid Rejuvenation -- add Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, RF Skin Tightening, Laser Treatments As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Upper blepharoplasty Hello, An upper blepharoplasty could correct the asymmetry you have with your droopy eye. Upper blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes surplus skin or ptosis (sagging) from the upper eyelid, brought about by either genetics or aging. The incision is made along the crease of the eyelid, which, upon healing, fades away and becomes virtually indiscernible. Roughly 20% of patients may require fat removal, while 15% require fat augmentation. This latter procedure is performed to replenish a depleted upper eyelid socket with the youthful plumpness that it has lost. Of course, an “in person” exam with a board certified plastic surgeon is necessary. I hope this helps, Best of luck ! Randal Haworth
