I am looking into getting a BBL or even buttocks implants, or a combination. My main priority is widening my hips. And getting rid of the hip dips. I am 54.5kg (120 pounds) 5 foot 5, and I have a BMI of 20.1. I have actually gained wait over the last 8 months 2kg. So although my bmi is pretty low it used to be lower, I am naturally just very slim.
Answer: I have very bad hip dips and narrow hips. But I’m very slim. What procedure would be best for me? (Photo) Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, hips, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)

Answer: BBL thinner patients Hello and thank you for the question and photos. Whenever a BBL is considered, you have to look at available fat, the size and shape of the butt and the frame of the patient. Skin tone is also a key factor. Based on your photos, you would be an excellent candidate for a BBL. You are thin, so a huge butt is not a good idea nor is it possible with the fat you have available. I agree your hip dips are very prominent, and that seems to be where you deposit fat. Any presurgery weight gain should be done quickly and right before surgery to give the best available fat for a transfer. If you can gain a couple more KG, it will make the result much better. I generally avoid butt implants. I think the technology and techique for this is still in the early phase and there are too many complications associated with implants, that if you can gain weight and do a traditional bbl that is the best option. This procedure is done outpatient, takes me about 2-3 hours, and you will need 2 weeks off of work for recovery. About 80% of the fat remains, so you will be slightly smaller 6 months later. You need to avoid any exercise for 1-2 months and absolutely no sitting on your butt for 2 months. It's a good idea to avoid any smoking, and to increase your protein intake and vitamins, especially vitamin D, C, and Zinc. There is growing evidence that shows patients with low vitamin D levels have a compromised immune system and are at higher risk to illness from Covid19. Best to you.
