I'm looking to get a FUE hair transplant and the only thing putting me off is the fact that I have to go back to work after 2 weeks of the procedure and would have to wear a bandanna. Would this reduce the amount of grafts that grow and therefore mean that having the hair transplant is a waste of time? Although I only work 4 days a week I would have to wear the bandanna for 8 hours during those 4 days.
Answer: 2 weeks after an FUE procedure After 2 weeks, you can go back to work and do not have to wear a bandana. You can generally wear whatever you wish. If you are concerned, it is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.

Answer: Bandana after hair transplant Most surgeons do not feel that wearing a bandana has any detrimental affects at the point you mentioned (2 weeks), and therefore this is not expected to affect your growth or results in any way.

Answer: Bandanas At 2 weeks post-op the grafts should have healed, so wearing a bandana at this point should not pose a problem.

Answer: Bandana post op After about 10 days the grafts and FUE scars will be healed enough that wearing a bandana should be fine. Wearing a hairpiece full time will reduce the growth of the grafts, but what you describe should be ok. Tight caps worn all the time are also bad for grafts, just so you know. Definitely discuss your concerns with your surgeon, and Good Luck!
