How does 1 vial of sculptra compare to 1 vial of voluma in terms of end-amount of volume?

As Sculptra is a collagen builder, not a filler it will add lift and volume to the treatment area by producing and stimulating your own collagen. It used to provide a strong “lasting” foundation that over time will add natural volume and contouring to the treated area, where an HA filler like Voluma is only temporary. It is difficult to give an exact comparison of volume achieved with Voluma versus Sculptra, but I would say in general that 1 vial of Sculptra would give more volume than 1 syringe of Voluma.  There is more of an immediate result with Voluma, and then this will gradually fade away over time.  Sculptra is a stimulating agent, so it takes a month or so to see the effect from a treatment.  Treatment with Sculptra usually involves more than a single treatment session as well.  Results from Sculptra will generally last longer than those achieved with Voluma.  

Sculptra is a stimulating, volumizing agent. We typically recommend 1 syringe per decade (32 year old 3 syringes) for best results. The disadvantage of Sculptra would be that it is not instant, and it can take up to 6 months to see full results. Voluma, or any HA filler, will give you instant results and is used more for localized volume loss on cheeks, temples, jawline, chin, lips, etc and will last up to 12 months.

Using Sculptra should give you at least three to five times the volume of a single syringe off Voluma. The only disadvantages of using Sculptra is that you will have to wait for the results anywhere between 6 and 12 weeks before final results.
