Answer: 4 weeks post-op. Does everything look ok? I cut a stitch that was causing bleeding, but all seems ok now. It is normal for stitches to resurface after surgery, and often times they could just be removed bu hand. However, there is a risk of infection in doing this so it is usually advisable to have them removed by your surgeon. Make sure that all incisions and open wounds are clean and dry to prevent infection.

Answer: Looks good Many thanks for your query. Your tum looks good from the single pic. Still a bit swollen in the lower part. Sutures coming to the surface is common after such surgery. Trimming them is one way to sort the problem. Probably best to let your surgeon do any more trimming if needed. Best Mark

Answer: 4 weeks post tummy tuck Hi, thanks for your question looks like the wound is settling well. it is not unusual for a stitch to come through to the surface instead of dissolving. its difficult to make a judgement just based on a single post op picture but you typically get some swelling in the tummy tissues which persists for many months and often varies up and down every few days. however, if you can feel as though there is fluid sloshing around behind the skin, this may be a sign of 'seroma' which is a harmless fluid collection - but this should ideally be drawn off with a needle. I hope this helps
