Port wine stain - left cheek (beard transplant?)

I have a port wine stain that covers the entire right side of my cheek and neck. I have had laser treatment on it throughout my life. I am now 23 and cannot grow facial hair at all on that side of my face. Is there anything I can do to create a beard on that side?

You can probably shave after the scabs have fallen out and the area has healed. Always check with your doctor first.

Beard or facial hair is a genetic trait. There are no medications that will grow a beard.  Some may try Rogaine but if you do see results it is temporary.

Facial hair growth is a genetic trait. If you have very little facial hair there isn't much you can do to increase the growth or density.  Hair transplant may be an option.

If you were not born with the genetic trait of having beard hair, there isn't much you can do to grow beard hair.  One option may be a hair transplant surgery.

If you were not born with the genetic trait of having beard hair, there isn't much you can do to grow beard hair.  The only way to have beard hair is transplant surgery.

2,000 grafts for both sides is probably on the low side.  However, men do have different beard density patterns.  Your best bet is to find a reputable hair facility to guide you.  Other good questions like yours is answered in the attached video.  Good luck!
