Perioral mound liposuction in the UK.

I have large mounds below and either side of my mouth, which I believe to be called the perioral mounds. Searching on here, I read that removal of a small volume of this fat via micro liposuction is considered the effective procedure. I have made enquiries in the UK, but I'm unable to find anyone who practices it. I was advised by one consultant surgeon that he would not perform the procedure due to risk of nerve damage. Can anyone help me?

Thank you for your question. Liposuction does not remove visceral fat.  Diet and exercise is the only way to improve visceral fullness. Best Wishes

If you are young & fit & healthy then there are no tests required prior to liposuction.  Be sure that your surgeon is a fully qualified plastic surgeon and operating on you in an accredited facility.  There are many good surgeons in Australia that would mean that you didn't have to...
