After liposuction does the visceral fat "comes back" in some cases to different areas of the body?

I'm scheduled for a tummy tuck and liposuction next month. I've been doing research and read that in some cases, years later the visceral fat comes back, creating lumps that weren't there before. Can someone please elaborate?

These procedures can be performed together.  If the hernia is done first, I typically have my patients wait 3 months after before getting the liposuction.  If the liposuction is done first, then the hernia can really be done immediatly after.  Best, Dr. Emer.
