I had 6 units on each eye and 10 in my forehead near my hairline. After 17 days it became apparent that only part of my forehead had been relaxed so she administered 10 more units. I want back after 10 days as I had scrunching above my eye brows - she gave me 10 more units which to me seems excessive. I now cannot raise my eyebrows at all and I feel and look really weird. Will this wear off gradually soon or will it take the whole three months? I don't even want to leave the house.

Answer: Botox and forehead/brows Hello and thank you for your questions, and I am sorry you are not getting the results you desire. Botox and Dysport will typically begin to "kick in" after 4-7 days, but some may see results earlier. The full effect is usually seen after 7-10 days so two weeks after your injections is a great time for a follow-up with your injector if you are not getting the results you desire. Additional injections may be given at 2 weeks if more correction is desired/needed. Botox/Dysport typically last 3-4 months, and after that it begins to slowly wear off. Be sure you see an experienced injector who can follow up with you and communicate so that you get the best results.Sincerely,Benjamin J. Cousins MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
