I struggle with bloating. I’m 5”7, and 72kg. I’m active and go to the gym a lot. Though I train my quads and glutes a lot, I can’t get the results I want in the gym. I naturally have a slender waist but I have a problem with a pouch of fat on my stomach. I didn’t have this fatty area as a teenager. My fat is stored almost like a halo shape predominantly around my pelvis; this is the area I seem to also retain water when I bloat. Is this a problem I’d still have with surgery?
