Hi, I have gone through the transplant of 3000 grafts, i know that after the hairs are fully grown it will cover the donor area and it will not appear bald. But my concern is, after the complete hair growth after 6 months. Will i be able to sport a short haircut from the donor area, or will the short haircut in the donor area will expose that i have gone through hair transplant.

Thanks for your question.We advise our patients to reduce smoking before and after the surgery. It will not effect your hair grow if you smoke about 5-6 cigarettes per day. But every surgeon has his own after care instructions and it will be better to consult with him/her.
