I hate how round the bottom of my face is. I know I have a weak chin and could do with some filler to even out my face but the lower fatness in my cheeks perioral mounds makes my face look disproportionate. Any ideas what to do?
Answer: Buccal Lipectomy Great question! Yes a buccal lipectomy can help improve your facial shape by shrinking down the lower cheek region. By doing this, the jawline and the cheeks become more defined and contoured. Another treatment to think about is Botox to the posterior jawline as this will also help slim the face from a more squared to a more oval appearance on the frontal views. However, it is always best to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so that your goals are reviewed and the best treatment recommende Best of luck and hope this information helps! - Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsai Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Lower facial fat help: Buccal fat, lipo, fillers, or FaceTite? Young patients interested in improving their facial appearance could benefit from different plastic surgery procedures. Each procedure does address and specific aspect of the face. For example:Buccal fat removal: reduces the chubby cheeks ( fullness of the lower face) to achieve a more define, thin V shape facial appearance.Chin liposuction: It permanently removes the double chin and helps to enhance the jaw line if performed in an extended manner.FaceTite: This procedure tightens the skin and lives a "facelift-like" appearance to the lower face. It is recommended in patients with loose facial skin ( generally from 30s and above)Cheek augmentation with fillers: It helps to achieve a more defined sculpted V shape facial look. It complements greatly the results of buccal fat removal. The vide below helps to understand who could be a candidate for buccal fat removal.

Answer: Facial Sculpting Hi! What you need is facial scuplting. You have a GORGEOUS SMILE by the way. You can do a combination of neck liposuction, jawline fillers, cheek bone enhancement with filler and buccal lipectomy. I think all of them will individually get you the best results. If I had to choose I would start with submental liposuction and jawline etching which is a surgery odne under local anesthesia for $1500. It takes about 45 minutes. Hope that helps!

Answer: Slimming the lower face I would suggest doing both buccal fat pad excision and Facetite together. This will help define your jawline and thin out the lower face. I have quite a few people come into my office daily with your same issue, and this seems to be the best combination to address both issues. Best of luck to you, Sarah Saxon, MD
