Are my eyes close set and if so is surgery possible?

Thanks for your question and sharing your photo. The medical term for eyes being too close together is "Hypotelorism". It is usually associated with congenital diseases where the brain has not developed to expand the skull during fatal development. Looking at you I do not think you have any issues. The best way is going to your local optician and ask them to correctly measure your inter pupillary distance (IPD). This is the distance between your pupils of your eyes. The diagnosis is made if the distance is smaller than the average which in females in your age group is around 56-61 mm. I hope you find this explanation helpful.Amir Sadr MD

You have bilateral eyelid ptosis with compensatory eyebrow elevation. Having the ptosis repaired properly will allow the eyebrows to relax down to a more natural position. This will give you a more almond shaped eye. Your eyes can be your best feature.
