What's the best treatment for a crooked nose, caused by a punch?

Hey! My brother got a punch from me from the right side of the nose. He bleeds for 2 to 3 minutes but the nose was not broken . we went for first aid . the bleeding was stopped but he has the pain that was bearable. He took pain killers and asleep that night.Next day we noticed that the nose is little crooked to the right. And has a little hump on right side near to eye . I don't know of it is a bone or swelling. I am very worried. Tell me some thing about it.

At this point, you should be seen by an ENT or Facial Plastic Surgeon. It is possible that your brother's nose is fractured or it may just be swollen. The only way to be sure is to schedule a consult. If his nose is broken, it is often possible to straighten it in the office without surgery during the first 10-14 days following the injury. to receive the highest quality knowledge, treatment, care and skill available. It is important to meet the surgeon to relay your concerns and desires as well as to learn your surgeon's appetite for the surgery and experience fixing crooked noses. A Rhinoplasty is your best bet.

If the nose has just been recently broken, it's best to seek consultation by a rhinoplasty surgeon to evaluate the damage to the internal and external cartilages and nasal bones. This will also document the injury as well as performing x-rays. A rhinoplasty can address resetting the nasal bones straight, and shaving down the dorsal hump. You should see an experienced rhinoplasty specialist soon. It may just be swelling. If treatment is necessary the displaced bone can be pushed back into place. Depending on your desires a rhinoplasty may be done but this is not likely. .
