Brazilian butt lift and breast implant removal: I am 5'8 and I currently have silicone implants.

hello smanthali The removal of breast implants that have been placed either for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes is a surgical operation.  Breast implant removal may be performed as a single surgical procedure or combined with additional procedures, as follows:

Simple breast implant removal, without removal of capsule tissue around implant
Removal of tissue surrounding the breast implant (capsulectomy)
Removal of escaped silicone gel in breast tissue (extracapsular, outside of capsule layer) from silicone gel-filled implants (breast biopsy)
Breast lift (mastopexy following breast implant and/or capsule removal)

If you are healthy, both of these procedures can be combined in one surgery.  Find a board certified plastic surgeon who is an expert in both.No one can truly predict whether a breast lift will be required as each soft tissue envelope will respond differently, but you may do well with just removal. Thank you for sharing your question.  It is possible to have your implants removed and a BBL performed in the same operation but your result after explantation will depend on your current breast appearance and skin quality.  Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation.

It is common to combine procedures and as long as you are healthy it is fine to combine the BBL and implant removal.  It is possible you may need a lift, but an examination by your surgeon will provide the best answer to that question.

You can safely have both procedures done at the same time.  Whether or not you need a lift depends on what your breasts looked like prior to implants, and what your goals are (what you want or expect to look like) once they are out.  It is likely that you will have some stretching of the skin and therefore your best result may be a lift, however the fact that you are young means you have the best chance of the skin retracting back to a natural result.   Best of luck to you!

It is safe to do both the removal of the implants and possibly a lift and a BBL at the same time. Recovery is reasonable too. Best wishes.
