After Restylane in lips, when can I kiss again? (Photo)

Question

It's been three days since the filler - when can I safely kiss my husband again? Also, is it okay to eventually be lightly bitten on my lips? Obviously not now but after a fortnight? Thankyou Drs!! :)

I usually tell my patients that you should be careful with kissing and biting the lips post injections but it can even be done right after the injection if it is very light (not vigorously). After one week there is no problem at all and you are back to your normal self. So after one week, you are normal again.

I let all my patients kiss after the feel the swelling has gone down.  It is usually within a day or up to 2 weeks depending.  If it doesn't hurt or feel strange, go ahead!  Best, Dr. Emer.

Filler injection in the lips should not prevent you from using your lips in any way but perhaps it may hurt to do so for few days after filler injection since it is healing.

You can kiss after lip injections without risking movement of the filler. However, due to soreness and swelling you may want to wait a few days before biting your lips.

There are no restrictions on kissing after lip enhancement. Light biting is fine too. It won't affect your outcome. I use only Restylane Silk for the lips now.
