If you are considering surgery it would be best to discuss your options with a doctor. You need to explain to your doctor your goals and expectations as well as your medical condition(s). The doctor needs to examine you to give you a better assessment to determine if you are a candidate.

An alternative to a hair line lowering surgery is a hair transplant surgery.  A hair transplant surgery involves adding hairs one by one to lower the hair line.

A scar may take a full 6 months to a year to heal.  Some people end up with great scars.  Others may end up with wider or bumpy scars.  It is best to follow up with your doctor for a recheck.
