Not happy with shape/size after TT. Are ab muscles at the tightest now or would they still need more strengthening? (Photos)

I had a tummy tuck, with muscle plication + lipo 12 weeks ago.While there is a great improvement overall, I think I had greater expectations of a flatter tummy. At times I still look slightly pregnant. I have always been an apple shape, never carried much weight, but when I did it went to my tummy, lending me to look pregnant even when not. I thought I would shake this look after the tummy tuck but not really. Does this look right, or can it be fixed? Could my muscles need extra strengthening?

Thank for your question. You are still healing, so you might see some continued improvements over the next few months. However, I'd bet that your surgeon made your muscles as tight as they could be. What you are experiencing might just mean that you have a higher component of "intra-abdominal" fat as opposed to fat under the skin that could be removed. That means that diet and exercise can get you the rest of the way there. Best wishes
