.5 ml would give you subtle improvement, but it will depend on your final results. Lip augmentations with fillers is a great option to improve the fullness, suppleness and symmetry of the lips which can make the mouth appear wider. Results can be very natural-looking and will feel very natural. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns. I hope this helps.
It is always best to have assessment in person to determine the amount, especially for lip filler. Everyone will require different amount base on individually desired look. You can start with 0.5 ml and add more a few weeks after.
Thanks for sharing your photo and question. It looks as though you are starting with good lip volume and I would careful not to have them overfilled. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed at followup appointments.
Thank you for your question. You should always start out conservatively with lip filler (aka .5ml) and if your desired look is not achieved you can add more. Go to a board certified injector. Best of luck, Dr. Heffernan
You should not allow anyone to inject you with an expired product. Regardless of whether or not you are charged, this is not safe for use. We recommend visiting a board certified provider with cosmetic injectable experience for further follow up.

This is atypical, but there is a relationship between the temporalis muscle and the TMJ, so displacement may cause referred pain. Your injector will know the exact answer as there are many ways to perform temple fillers. I suspect this is referred pain due to secondary pressure effects. Your...
This is unlikely due to your filler injections. If it persists, I recommend following up with your injector. Filler results take 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps.
In general, I prefer patients to avoid NSAIDs for at least 1 week before treatment. That said, some people need them, and that's fine. The main cause of bruising is the needle or cannula hitting a blood vessel. Being on a blood thinner like diclofenac, aspirin or other NSAIDs simply makes the...
I think its quite reasonable to start with 1cc/syringe of Juvederm or other filler for the nasolabial folds ; after 2 weeks, if you'd like more, you can always add more. Make sure only a highly trained expert physician injector such as a dermatologist injects you for optimal results and safety.
