After cheek filler I have prominent lines and look like a Star Trek character. Will this last? What should I do? (photos)

Hi there,I would suggest massaging the prominent area, and following up with your injector in another week or two. The prominence may become less harsh as the swelling subsides. Worst case scenario, you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase if you still aren’t happy with the results.

Thankyou for your question.You are definitely swollen so at this time i would suggest massaging the area gently and ice. you need to give it at least  2 weeks to see if it settles. If it is still obvious then i would suggest going back and getting some of the filler dissolved. I agree it looks far too obvious. Good Luck

Of course it is always best to talk to your practitioner before you start following online advice; however, I would make a couple of recommendations:
1. Massage the area to distribute the filler into a less prominent field
2. This might be post-injection inflammation that will get better in a few days. Ice will help with swelling
3. If the appearance is still harsh after a week then hyaluronidase can be injected to break down the filler

We are sorry you weren't pleased with your results. Because it has been less that 24 hours since treatment we are advising that you wait 1-2 weeks for any swelling to subside. If you are still unhappy, return to your provider and discuss the issue. You should be able to reverse the product with hyaluronidase.
