Hello, if your breasts looked the same before, and this change in appearance is new, I would suggest contacting your surgeon again to discuss your concerns.  It is not possible to diagnose the problem based on a photo, but usually by 10 months after surgery the implants have settled and they are not still changing significantly.

Hello,Although it is difficult to tell from your photo, it looks and sounds like capsular contracture.  Your surgeon's recommendation to wait more time 10 months after surgery doesn't make sense to me. Maybe you should get a second opinion. Best of luck!

Thanks for your question.  More history would be helpful in making a comment.  Did your breasts appear even after surgery? Where they even before?  One being lower than the other can be a result of differences in the breast tissue itself, vs implant issues/positioning.  Capsular contracture can cause one breast to look higher than the other as well.  The fact that you are not having any pain, although not an absolute, speaks against CC.  It would require an examination to make a truly accurate assessment. As far as allowing more "time to heal", at 10 months out, it is unlikely that things will change with further time.  Best Regards and good luck.

in both volume and nipple location.  If one is getting smaller, you could have a slow leak that you can confirm by using a molded cup (doesn't stretch) bra weekly to see if there is more space developing on the smaller side.  If so, you have a leak.  If you were like this a week post-op, then you may want o consider asymmetric fills to maximize the volume on the smaller side.  But without the benefit of seeing what you were like before the procedure, what volumes were put in, and what you looked like post-op, its really impossible to speculate on what is happening.

Without having a preoperative set of pictures it is impossible to give an opinion that makes sense. My personal guess would be that this is an asymmetry in volume and shape that you had to begin with.

Your breast augmentation asymmetry is not going to get better with time. In fact, it will only worsen. Your asymmetry must have been present before your surgery and so it should have been addressed at this time. You will need a breast lift to correct your asymmetry.
