Is this normal? Rippling when bending over and stretching.

Hello, some people will notice new rippling over time, simply due to thinning of the overlying breast tissue.  On the other hand, rippling and discomfort  can be a sign of a problem like capsular contracture.  You would need to have an in-person assessment by a PS to properly address your concerns.

What you are experiencing is normal on thin individuals.  You have some options like changing to Inspira breast implants or HSC+ (when available again).  Fat grafting may also help.If you are happy otherwise, nothing needs to be done.Best Wishes,Nana Mizuguchi

Thank you for your question. People who are thin like yourself are more prone to have rippling. Saline implants are more prone to rippling vs silicone. Fat injection into the breast can help minimize the the rippling. I hope you find this information useful.   

if you are thin, you will always feel the implant to some degree. what you are feeling in normal and will improve with time. if the wrinkling bothers you, you could have other things done. this depends on the location and other factors.

Hi Megan,Thanks for the question.  It sounds like you are a very thin person and what you are experiencing is normal when you are thin.  If you have enough fat available, fat grafting can be done to provide more coverage of the implant.  If you are happy with the look of your breasts otherwise, I wouldn't recommend doing anything.
