pierced my ears (using a gun) in 2008. Developed peasized keloids behind my earlobes 1yr later & had them surgically removed in 2010. (also had kenalog IV into my ear cartilage once a week for 4weeks after surgery.) keloids havent returned & I want to pierce my ears again. GP says its ok & that the keloids were because I used a gun.Is this advisable? What are the chances of regrowth & how best can I go about this? I've had a belly ring since 2005 with no problem- done with a needle, not a gun.
