It looks like you may be having problems with the perfusion (blood supply) to your skin, which could possibly lead to some of that skin not surviving (necrosis). You should see your plastic surgeon as soon as possible, so they may provide recommendations to address this issue.Best, Dr. Kludt

and you should see your surgeon for further management and help with this.  You will heal but it will not be simple or straightforward.  Your surgeon should be very involved in your care from this point forward.

Thank you for your inquiry and photos.  Unfortunately it appears you are having a wound healing issue and that the darkened portion of the abdominal flap may not be viable at this point.  I would suggest that you contact your Plastic Surgeon immediately and arrange to be seen.Best wishes.
