Will waxing my eyebrow after filler impact my results?

My patients are instructed that they can return to normal activities the day after Botox or Dysport injections. I would advise them to wait at least 48 hours for any other procedures on the treatment area like waxing, threading, or other facial procedures.All the best,

Waxing your eyebrows 2 days after having Dysport for forehead lines and in between the eyebrows (frown area) should not affect your results.

As long as they weren't rubbing your face hard, you should be fine. I wouldn't recommend it immediately after the procedure, but two days later it should have settled for the most part. Next time give it a few more days just to be safe!

Typically patients can resume all normal activities 24 hours after have treatment. Follow your injectors protocol after injections. Also, follow up with your injector at 2 weeks to discuss any questions or concerns that you may have.

We generally recommend patients avoid lying flat (naps, dentist appointments, massages, hair appointments, etc.) and avoid exercise for 4 hours after receiving Botox or Dysport.  We also advise against applying pressure to the treatment areas for 4 hours.  Some practices may have varying recommendations, but we do not see any issue with waxing your eyebrows two days following your Dysport treatment.  As always, check with your healthcare provider to discuss their recommendations.
