Answer: Contour Issues After Auualyx Fat Busting Injections LishaI am sorry you are having this issue and I have seen other patients with similar problems after “fat busting” injections. The problem with this treatment regimen is lack of control as to how much fat, if any, is dissolved by these injections and skin irregularities such as yours can certainly be an issue. It appears from your photos that you would require micro liposuction of the surrounding areas and probably fat transfer to the deep area under your chin. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area for a full evaluation. Good luck.

Answer: Undesirable outcome unfortunately that is not the best treatment in my opinion and I personally don’t offer it.Liposuction is the gold standard, it gives more predictable results and is more effective. The primary problem is you’re now missing fat that should be there. You have two options. One is to remove fat laterally on each side of the deficit to try to even out the contour the other is adding a volume with fat grafting.both of these procedures have drawbacks and limitations and neither one is probably going to bring you back to your pre-procedure neck contour.with fat transfer often several rounds of fat transfer I needed.Sometimes converting the situation to a skin tightening procedure like a facelift can help but I don’t think that’s the right plan of action in your case.there’s no one single person who is going to be able to fix this completely with one go around.I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who have extensive experience with facial fat transfer.I do not recommend traveling for elective surgical procedures especially ones that require multiple follow up appointments and several rounds of treatment.staying conservative and making small steps towards correcting this is probably going to give a better long-term outcome than a single procedure.Maintaining an even contour with procedures like Liposuction is hard enough. Taking an uneven contour and making it even as many times more difficult and you need to set your expectations accordingly.this is why approaching this with smaller incremental improvements will lead to a better final outcome.i’m guessing one round of liposuction of the surrounding areas with fat transfer to the center area then one or two more fat transfer procedures would be a probable course of action.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
