B lite implants - do they have good feedback?

Im hoping to get some information on b-lite implants. I currently have motivas but am going in for a revision due to bottoming out. My surgeon has suggested b lite implants. I’ve read some reviews of women finding them to be uncomfortable and removing the b lite implants. Whats the feedback been on b-lites?

The draw of a B lite implant is the size for size reduced weight relative to traditional implants.

However, it is important to remember that bottoming out is less a function of weight and more a function of careful pocket dissection. Preservation of the native IMF makes all the difference.

Dear Charliieanne this is a great question! B-Lite implants are designed to be about 30% lighter than traditional implants. That said, like any implant, experiences can vary between individual patients.

In revision cases like bottoming out, some surgeons consider B-Lite implants helpful because the reduced weight may place less downward pressure on the breast tissues over time. However, the most important factors in preventing recurrence are usually proper pocket repair, implant size selection, and tissue support, rather than the implant brand alone.

Due to their lightweight structure, B-lite implants can be a good option in some specific cases for individuals with weak breast tissue. Implant volume is crucial. For example, there isn't much difference in weight between a 250 cc b-lite implant and a regular implant. However, as the implant volume increases, the difference becomes more significant.
