Liposuction bruises. How long does it take for the swelling to go down?

I'm thinking about getting liposuction in a few weeks and my problem area's are my lovehandles and lower belly, im not a big girl but I want to lose around 25-30 pounds how long will it take for the swelling to go down does it depend on how much you get it done?

Typically than I was slowing depends on how much you have done. Swelling is variable. It differs from person-to-person.

Bruising is often minimal after #liposuction unless you take certain dietary supplements, NSAID medications, certain vitamins, or history of easy bruising. Bruising and swelling are normal in the suctioned areas and usually increase slightly after the removal of any tape or foam. The bruising will decrease over 3-4 weeks, but may last as long as 6 weeks. The majority of the swelling will be gone within the first 3-4 weeks. However it may take 6-9 months to disappear completely. The compression garment helps reduce the swelling, and the longer it is worn, the more quickly the process will proceed. Some lasers and Arnica Gel may also help bruising from #liposuction.

Swelling generally takes about two to three weeks to subside however it may last a little longer depending in your unique situation. The more extensive the correction generally the longer the swelling takes.
