Without posted photos and the benefit of physical exam- it's difficult to comment accurately. Generally speaking, Mommy Makeover is major body contouring set of procedures including breast and abdomen surgeries. In the State of Florida -- for safety of the patient- only 1000 cc of fat can be removed at the same time as major Mommy Makeover procedures. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS with extensive experience in Body Contouring operations and preferably having these procedures done at the Hospital affiliated surgical center.
Thanks for your question. Mommy makeovers involve various combinations of proceudres to improve the breasts, abdomen, hips, back, arms, legs, buttocks, etc after childbirth. We include 360 liposuction to our mommy makeovers.Combination procedures can give powerful results but safety is key. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Thank you for your question. I agree with my colleagues below that a complete medical history and physical exam has to be done by a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate if you are a candidate for the procedures you seek. Sometimes multiple body contouring procedures can be done together; however, other times it is safer to do in smaller steps/stages depending on the complexity of the procedure and length of time for planned anesthesia, medical history and age of the patient, patient's BMI, etc. I would consult with one or several board-certified plastic surgeons in your area with experience in body contouring to help guide you in making your decision for your plans in 2020. I hope this helpful. Good luck in 2020!
MM doesn't really refer to anything specifically. Liposuction could be part of a MM depending upon the other procedures.

Thank you for your questions. Without a consultation or at least some photos, it is impossible to answer this question. You need to have a consultation with a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ask these questions. Keep in mind that in Florida, there are restrictions on how much liposuction can be done along with another procedure, so if you are wanting a significant amount of liposuction, then this would likely have to be done at a different time.Hope this helps!Dallas R. Dear Lucy_E_Brown,some plastic surgeons may want to split this into two operations depending on the time needed. Its best to see a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine your options and whether it would take too long, more than 4 hours, to do all.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Here in Florida, the Board of Medicine limits the amount of liposuction that is performed during the same surgery as a tummy tuck to only 1 liter. This is not typically a big enough allowance to do much other than liposuction of the flanks. So, the lipo 360 would have to be a separate procedure.
Lucy. Mommy Makeover Surgery is an extremely popular procedure with high patient satisfaction. It involves breast rejuvenation; breast lift, with or without implants and Tummy-tuck. It is also often combined with liposuction of different areas including the thighs and back regions. Aggressive forms of liposuction like abdominal wall etching should not be performed at the time of a Tummytuck as it can lead to necrosis of the abdominal skin secondary to interruption of blood supply from etching. These multiple procedures are usually performed at one time, but can be staged as well. It is important to try to get as close as possible to an ideal weight before surgery to achieve the best result. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon with lots of experience. Good luck!

Well before six weeks all non-dissolvable sutures should have been removed. Occasionally, dissolvable sutures can poke out of the skin during recovery and they are typically white or clear. If this occurs it is important to make sure that they do not get infected so be sure to talk to your s...
Kate. I appreciate your concern and you should be fully evaluated by your medical doctor. Most board-certified plastic surgeons prefer to stage that many procedures. It is safer and better for your recovery. BBL and Tummytuck operations each carry a higher incidence of blood clot formation and...
