Is a Lip Lift safe 8 weeks before closed Rhinoplasty?

I believe that a lip lift could be done at the same time as a rhinoplasty. In my opinion we are working in the same aesthetic area and rhinoplasty often results in a longer appearing philtrum, so why not correct it at the same time, just like when we do an alar base resection at the same time as the rhinoplasty. The surgeon must obviously be an expert in both procedures and be comfortable doing them at the same time.

Since you can not have these surgeries done in the same time (?), I believe it is safe to proceed with lip lift 8 weeks after rhinoplasty, providing that there is no significant surgery done in the nose base (nostrils, sill, cartilage grafts). Most of the swelling is gone and lip healing will not be affected with post rhinoplasty recovery. Good luck.

Lip lifts and rhinoplasty can be done at the same time. However, if you are doing them separately, I'd recommend the rhinoplasty first. Sometimes your surgeon needs to address the nostrils, and the change in the nose can affect the lip.
