Narrow upper lip - am I good candidate for a lip lift? (photos)

Question

My upper lip is narrow and I look like a duck sometimes. Am I good candidate for a lip lift? I've heard the procedure can leave a scar under the nose, so perhaps filler would be good enough? Thank you in advance for your advice!

Hi,
You are a great candidate for lip lift. I have found leaving 13-14mm behind looks great, you can estimate what that looks like by pressing on the skin below your nose and measuring the distance! The 13-14mm distance is from the nasal base to top of the upper lip (vermillion border)

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

Thank you for the pictures. From the limited views, you appear to have a 'thin' upper lip with adequate width, and seem to be an ideal candidate for an upper lip lift. The procedure takes about an hour with about a 7-10 day recovery with initial swelling and bruising.
