I have had two consultations and have been told I am a candidate. I am wanting this procedure because I want more teeth show not necessarily to make my lips bigger. My philtrum is 1.3.

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.  I recommend a lip lift with more taken laterally.

You do not need skin removal to achieve this. Resection of the upper portion of the muscle without or with minimal skin excision will help to lift your lip when smiling and show more of teeth. Good luck.
