What can I do to minimize the appearance of a 6 month old lip lift scar? (photo)

Hi, I had a lip lift done about 6 months ago and I am concerned for the scar that is under my nose. It still turns red at times and is visible. I was wondering if there are any treatments to start on the scar now that its healed. I would want to avoid another procedure. Is there something that can help reduce it?

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would benefit from a lip lift and I would remove more laterally then centrally. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

In your photographs, you can see you nose is asymmetrical. You would benefit from a rhinoplasty at the same time of an upper lip lift. I would not be concerned about the width of your nose, that is not going to be a problem. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose...
